To Be Read helps promote writers whose talent is culturally reflective and innovative by providing affordable, professional, pay-what-you-can editorial support to unpublished and self-published authors and working with literary agencies and publishers to identify and support writers that have potential but whose talents need time, care and resources to be fully realised. 

Why we do it...

Diversifying the pool of author talent is beneficial to those authors and those who acquire them. Working with writers and other creative professionals with rich, varied lived experiences leads to exciting, innovative and revitalised publishing lists. Even better, it creates empathetic readers and helps books reach wider audiences, made up of those who previously have felt excluded by traditional literary narratives.
